Dear Parents and Family Members,

Welcome to my website! I created this website to be an educational tool and resource for both students and parents. First I want to take the time to introduce myself. This is my second year at Sharon Springs Central School. I have a undergraduate degree from the College of Saint Rose in elementary and early childhood special education. I also have a masters degree in Literacy (Birth to 2nd Grade) from Saint Rose as well.

This year I will be teaching four different classes from resource room to  remedial reading classes. In the morning I teach a Kindergarten/ First Grade Resource room, as well as, a new special education program. The program is titled PALS standing for Primary Academic Learning Skills. In this class your child will receive support in reading, writing, spelling, and math. The resource room is designed to provide additional support to your child outside the classroom.

In the afternoon, I teach two remedial reading classes. One group is a fourth grade reading class, and the other is a fifth/sixth grade reading class. These reading classes are designed to incorporate  reading instruction on your child's individual reading level .
